Purna started her career at Otis Elevators in IT department writing code for MRP systems. She got into teaching at Temple University while living in Japan and loved it! Therefore, she went on to get B.Ed in the USA where she taught in the public school system for years. On returning to India she worked with NGOs and taught in the government schools in both Mumbai and Bangalore. Currently, she is deeply engaged with Kidswhokode, an organization that works with students from affordable private schools to teach them coding. It has been an incredible journey of learning, with several opportunities to give back.
Samir Mody graduated from the University of Oxford in 2000 with a First-Class Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Economics and Management. He spent over 9 years at Sophos UK, the final 3 as Threat Operations Manager of SophosLabs. Since August 2010 he has been running K7’s Threat Control Lab in Chennai, India. Samir has actively contributed to the IEEE Taggant System project and other industry collaborations such as AMTSO. He has co-authored and/or presented papers and participated in panel discussions at various international security conferences. Samir’s interests include reading (philosophy, politics, history, literature, and economics), sport and classical music.
A coder at heart, Ujjawal has worked in the information technology domain for over 6 years. While working on projects in India and abroad he has gathered experience in online systems designing, website security analysis and online payment systems. During free time he loves to play massive multiplayer online games.
He is Teach for India Alum and currently teaches at Riverside School in Ahmedabad.
