CEL Physical Computing kits are a great way to create projects integrating computing with the world around
us to build 21st-century skills in young tinkerers.
Physical computing refers to the use of tangible, embedded microcontroller-based interactive systems that
can sense the world around them and/or control outputs such as lights, displays and motors. Human
interaction plays a pivotal role in making these systems. Smart automotive traffic control systems, factory
automation processes, washing machines, and fitness equipment are some of the examples which are found
in homes, offices and industry. It is a subset of embedded systems and Internet of Things (IoT) systems.
